The Topaz-coloured stone is multi-faceted and claw-set, with a fine ropework and ball edging. 
It is mounted in a cluster of entwined knots, beautifully proportioned.

Made in the Naturalistic style in 1850-1860, this Victorian Brooch features delicate flowers and leaves inlaid, by hand, with gold and Silver.
The intricate detail and workmanship is phenomenal!
Around this, there is a border, with a fleur-de-lys pattern, also inlaid in Gold.
With the original ‘c’clasp and pin, it measures just over 1 inch in diameter, and is in very good condition.
It comes in a beautiful leather presentation box.
