A Unique and Beautiful Quality Bracelet featuring eight graduated Hand-Carved Cameos surrounded by Diamonds in High Carat Gold, c.1880.
Each Cameo has been masterfully Hand-Carved in Volcanic Grey Lava.
Volcanic Lava Jewellery traditionally came from the lava of Vesuvius, which erupted in 79 A.D., destroying Pompeii and Herculaneum. 
This type of Jewellery became popular during the ‘Grand Tour’ days of the English Aristocracy in the 19^th century.
In high relief, each is a young woman with curls in her hair and a beatific posture. There are eight in all in different sizes. (from just over 1 inch to 1 ¼ inch long).
They are in mounts of High carat Rose Gold into which sparkling Rose Hand-cut Diamonds are set. 
With twelve old cut Diamonds for each Cameo, the total is 96 Diamonds –approx 2 carats.
On sturdy hinges, the Bracelet is seven inches long (not including the good push-fit clasp) by 1 ¼ inch wide.
The back is also very Beautiful.

This exquisite, large, hand-carved shell cameo 18 carat Gold brooch/pendant depicts a Summer scene of two young woman and a child with fruit and flowers. 
The detail is first-class, and it is set in an 18 carat gold mount with a rope-twist edging. 
There is a loop at the top to take a chain, if the cameo is required as a pendant. The loop is hinged so that it folds back if the cameo is required as a brooch. 
Made with intelligence and craftsmanship, and in perfect condition.

It measures 65mm. by 45mm., and is in Excellent Condition.

This is definitely the biggest Cameo brooch that we have ever come across!  
The hand-carving is fine and well-executed, and the lady’s Jewellery is clearly visible.  
Carved from shell, the Cameo is mounted in an oval frame with applied rope-twist edging.

A Striking and Beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Bracelet set with Five Cameos.
Each Cameo has been meticulously Hand-Carved in Shell by an Expert Craftsman.
There are five different carvings, with the women at the ends being similar. 
They are carved with great detail, showing hair ornamentation and jewellery. Perhaps these are Goddesses or classical Greek or Roman women.
The central Cameo is the largest at 33mm.- the others are approx. 30mm.
The clasp is a bolt ring stamped Sterling, and there is a strong safety chain with a bolt ring for total Security when wearing.
It measures 7 inches, and could easily be made longer if required.

A Fine and Beautiful Quality Antique Cameo Pendant on a Gold Chain.
The Cameo is hand-carved on shell, and the detail of the carving is evidence of true craftsmanship. 
The young woman herself has a beatific persona, with floral hair ornaments clearly visible in her Grecian hairstyle.
It is framed by a rope twist and engraved scalloped edging, with a small fleur-de-lys dropper.
It measures 40mm. from the top of the bale, by 20mm. at the widest.
The rose-gold chain is a sturdy belcher link   inches long with a good sprung bolt ring clasp.

It depicts a beautiful, aristocratic, refined young lady with a classic hairstyle in ringlets.

The brooch is set in a frame of attractively pierced rope twist knots.
With a safety chain, it is in excellent condition, measuring 45mm. x 35 mm.

It features a young woman in classical style, c. 1880.
Typically Victorian, it is mounted in an interesting, undulating two-tone gold coloured frame.

The scene is ‘Rebecca at the Well’, with Rebecca in biblical dress.
She is standing near a tree and her home, drawing water from the well.
This Beautiful carving is set in an ornate frame with loops and large engraved twists.
The reverse has an engraved frame, which is easily removed for insertion of photos or pictures, etc.
