Heritage Jewellery

Georgian Period refers to jewellery made during the years when the four king Georges ruled Great Britain. Georgian jewellery encompassed most of the 18th C and the beginning of the 19th C.

Georgian jewellery is very collectable world wide, all hand made and usually consists of nature designs with birds, flowers leaves insects and feathers, most pieces were encrusted with diamonds and gemstones and the type of metal was secondary important, the pieces set with gemstones were very unique and entirely handmade.

Today not much Georgian Jewellery is around, it is becoming increasingly collectable, much mourning jewellery is from this period, sentimental jewellery made from hair, regard, dearest, adore gemstone jewellery.
