OUR TERMS OF SALE

For your Peace-of-Mind, we offer the following conditions of sale which will apply to all sales:-

 

1.  REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES

Heritage Jewellery Ltd. represents and warrants for the benefit of the buyer of the Jewellery on the website that:

a.  Heritage Jewellery Ltd. has the right, power and authority to offer and sell the Jewellery;

b. the Jewellery is, and shall remain free and clear of all liens, encumbrances or claims of third parties of every kind or nature whatsoever;

c.  good title will pass to the purchaser upon sale;

d. The Descriptions provided by Heritage Jewellery Ltd. are accurate to the best of our knowledge and belief, and the physical condition of the Jewellery is as described on the Site, always taking age into consideration.

e.  The Descriptions contain as much information as we know about the individual piece and is as true and complete as possible, in terms of age and authenticity of origin.

2.PACKING AND SHIPPING
Unless otherwise agreed by Heritage Jewellery Ltd. and the Buyer, Heritage Jewellery Ltd. will arrange for the Buyer the packing and handling of the purchased Jewellery and a carrier of Heritage Jewellery Ltd’s choosing or recommendation, and will insure the Jewellery against loss or damage in transit, for an amount no less than the purchase price.
Buyer will bear the cost of shipping, insurance and any import tax fees.
Heritage Jewellery Ltd. cannot be held liable for any acts or omissions of carriers.

 

3.PAYMENT.
Unless agreed beforehand, the purchaser shall immediately pay the full purchase price of the Jewellery, including any applicable shipping and insurance fees by: cash, credit card, cashier's cheque, International money order, or personal cheque (within the U.K.).
Payment will not be deemed to have been made and shipment will not be initiated until Heritage Jewellery Ltd. has collected good funds.

Layaway
With our Layaway system, payments are split into 2 or 3 monthly payments (or longer by agreement) at the same date each month.
This is a Free and Discretionary Service.
(Goods returned after being put aside for this period of time will incur a small extra charge, pro rata.)

4.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
 The purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees that Heritage Jewellery Ltd. shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages or lost profits (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with the sale of Jewellery on the website.

 

5. REFUNDS
Your satisfaction is our Primary Concern!
If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund (exclusive of shipping/insurance charges).

TO RECEIVE A REFUND OR CREDIT:
1. You must notify us by email or telephone within 7 days after you receive the item(s). (Most companies offer only 3 days return!)
2. Returns must be sent out to us within 24 hours after notification.
3. Items must be returned, fully insured for the paid price, in the same condition as dispatched, in the original packaging, without any alterations or damage. Please include your sales receipt.

Refunds or credits will be processed within 3 days of receipt and inspection of the item(s). We will confirm receipt of the returned item(s), and completion of the refund, by email.

          Credit
         
At our discretion, and by negotiation with the buyer, a credit may be issued for further purchases from Heritage Jewellery Ltd

Exported Goods.
Any returns from outside the U.K. must be clearly marked “Returned Goods. Country of Origin U.K.” 
Failure to do so will incur Customs Charges and extra Carrier handling Fees, chargeable to the sender.

6. PRICES AND ‘SHOPPING CARTS’

Regarding Pricing.
There are a number of reasons that we do not exhibit prices on our website. Chiefly Security – which is our primary concern.
We also believe that communication is crucial in building customer relationships.

Shopping Carts are based on making maximum sales at minimal cost with the least amount of personal contact and labour that eradicates the need for customer service.
When we put up this site, our aim was to 'sell the highest-quality, fastest-turnover jewelry at the most competitive prices, with the best pictures and information on each piece, and the greatest amount of human contact possible'. Think of us as your personal shop named " Customer Service ".

Do you know what 'hackers' are? Do you know what they spend their time doing?
They spend their time trying to access so called 'secure-sites' and would particularly like your credit card number.
Secure sites are their targets.
It appears to be safe, it is advertised as safe and it gives you the feeling of protection, but we all know better than that!
Don't trust the Illusion of a ‘Secure Site’ on the Internet. We don't.
