A Unique, Exquisite and Beautiful Quality 18 carat Gold Etruscan Necklace featuring Intaglio Cameos in Carnelian Agate.
There are nine sections. Each has a male profile Hand-Carved with great skill into vibrant and translucent red-brown Carnelian Agate.
The profiles are different Greek Gods or heroes, with Hermes, Paris, Perseus, Zeus, Apollo, possibly Dionysus and Poseidon (two are repeated).
They are smoothly polished and in a rub over setting of 18 carat yellow Gold.
With a double rope twist, the 18 carat Gold frame is intricately engraved.
The 18 carat Gold Chain is a sturdy link with a good sprung clasp.
It weighs 30.9 grams.It measures 18 ½ inches, by 19mm at the widest, and can be made to choker length by clipping into different links on the chain.
It is in Excellent Condition.
