These beautifully Alluring, Quality, Long Earrings are the height of Sophistication.They feature a pendeloque drop of pink-red Coral (Coral has been a popular material for Jewellery since Antiquity, and was valued, not only for its colour, but also for its perceived Magical Powers. It was worn to ward off evil, and even used for medicinal purposes in the Middle Ages. Due to the effects of pollution, Coral is getting hard to find. Antique Coral is a very good Investment.)The Coral hangs freely in the center of each Earring, and is framed by fifteen sparkling brilliant-cut graduated White Sapphires, set in Sterling Silver.The upper section contains two more scintillating White Sapphires, one in a very attractive ‘fleur-de-lys’ pattern. From here, the Gold shepherd’s crook ear wire is found, and is extra long for security when wearing.These Gorgeous Earrings are in Excellent Condition.They hang 2 ¼ inches, by 14mm at the widest part.Old Code 4385.
