These are Exquisite Quality Georgian pendant Earrings set with a pendeloque Garnet and hand-cut Diamonds, c. 1810.They are made in the Georgian manner.The earrings are set in 18ct yellow gold and silver.The Garnet is an alluring and clear pink-red, pendeloque in shape, and surrounded by ten securely claw-set sparkling rose-cut Diamonds, which follow the shape of the Garnet.Above the drop, there is another rose-cut Diamond (solitaire) from which the Gold shepherd’s crook ear wire emerges.There are twenty-two Diamonds altogether, making a Total of approx.One Carat of Diamonds.The backs are closed and smooth.They weigh 4.7 grams.They hang one inch from the top of the gold ear-wire, and are in Excellent Condition.Old Code E4312.
