An Alluring and eye-catching Antique Gold Hexagon Ring set with sparkling Peridots.
At the top and bottom of the setting, there are two square-cut Peridots, with two more hexagonal ones at the sides.
There is a smaller, paler, round cut Peridot raised in a centre mount.

The total Peridot weight is five carats approx.
Peridots are at the top of the semi-precious range of Stones.

They were very popular in Victorian times, often referred to as ‘Olivines’ – a reference to their attractive colour.

Peridot was sometimes used in Religious Jewellery.

The Crusaders brought Peridot to Europe in the early Middle Ages, transporting Stones from St. John’s Island in the Red Sea, where it has been mined for over 3,500 years!

The stones are set in an engraved collar, and raised in a very attractively pierced gallery and shoulders.

The ring is set in 9ct yellow gold - stamped 375.
Suitable for either sex, this Ring is in Excellent Condition.

It weighs 3.9 grams.
The size is L ¾ (UK) and 6 ¼ (USA), and it could be re-sized by any working Jeweller.
The pattern measures 17mm. by 14mm.
