This stylish, enchanting, original, lovely Necklace is made in three sections.
The centre features a bow with ornamentation, and the other two sections are flamboyant intertwined ‘lovers’ knots, symbolising love, commitment, and permanency.
All sections are festooned with dozens of scintillating rose-cut Marcasites, in a millepoint setting of Sterling Silver.
(Marcasites are known as “Black Diamonds” because they look very similar to Antique rose-cut Diamonds. They are formed from Hematite – an iridescent black-grey stone found in the mountains of the English Lake District. Large crystals have so much lustre that they used to be used as mirrors!)
The chain is an open belcher link with a sprung bolt ring clasp.
It measures 16 ¼ inches long, by 35mm. by 26mm., the middle section, and is in Excellent Condition, all parts original.
