This stunning Art Deco style 5 ct Amethyst and Diamond Ring is set in 9 ct white gold.

This beautiful ring has a gorgeous rich velvet purple Amethyst which has sparkling Diamonds set into the abstract gallery.

The Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz and is a jewel coveted by princes both ecclesiastical and secular.

The greeks believed Amethyst gems could prevent intoxication, while medieval European soldiers wore Amethyst amulets as protection in battle.

A beautiful Art Deco design setting.

It weighs 4.4 grams.

In very good condition it looks fabulous when worn.
