A beautiful pair of long, 17cts deep red Garnet and Diamond 18ct gold Earrings.The top Garnets are 2.5cts each, and the bottom garnets are 6cts each making 17cts in total.Garnets have been known to Man for thousands of years and Noah is said to have used a Garnet Lantern to help him steer his ark through the dark night.The Garnet is a popular talisman; a protective stone, said to protect its owner from evil and disaster.The old cushion cut Diamonds are 0.03cts each and they sparkle and glisten with immense lustre and life captivating the allure of nature's beauty.The Earrings are set in 18ct yellow gold.The earrings have shepherd hook fittings for pierced ears.They weigh 8.7 grams.In very good condition they look gorgeous when worn.The dimensions are 14mm across and 43mm down - that's just over 1/2 an inch by just under 1 3/4 inches, including wires.The top garnet measures 7mm across by 10mm down and the bottom garnet measures 13mm across by 18mm down.
