These gorgeous, 18ct yellow gold and silver, old rose cut Diamond bow, Georgian style Earringsare truly spectacular.The old rose cut Diamond bows lead to large, cabachon cut Garnets which are a rich red wine colour.Garnets have been known to Man for thousands of years and Noah is said to have used a Garnet Lantern to help him steer his ark through the dark night.The Garnet is a popular talisman; a protective stone, said to protect its owner from evil and disaster.The old rose cut Diamonds sparkle and glisten with immense lustre and life captivating the allure of nature's beauty.The Earrings are silver and gold; the backs are high carat gold with closed backed galleries whichare typical of the Georgian manner.The old rose cut Diamonds are Circa 1800's.They weigh 8.2 grams.In very good condition they look gorgeous when worn.The Diamond bows are 12mm across and down - that's approximately 1/2 an inch.The Garnets are 10mm across and 14mm down -that's just less than 1/2 an inch by just over 1/2 an inch.The dimensions are 12mm across and 30mm down - that's approximately 1/2 an inch by approximately 1.25 inches, including wires.
