This is a fabulous, Memento Mori Ring with 'John Smith born 22nd March and died October 1817 aged 67' inscribed inside the closed backed under gallery.A crystal dome displays a Skull and Crossbones and Memento Mori is set inside this window.Memento Mori reminds us to live life to the full as death is never very far away.This really is a special Ring and one to be treasured.It has lovely decoration all round the shank inlaid with black enamel.It weighs 4.2 grams.In very good condition it looks lovely when worn.UK Size is L1/2 and USA Size is 6 - It will resize.The dimensions are 12mm across and 9mm down - that's approximately 1/2 an inch by approximately 3/8 of an inch.
