This beautiful 22ct yellow gold mourning locket brooch has stunning overall workmanship.It is from the Georgian era and is Circa 1800.It is set with a central pearl star burst. The small pearls are lustrous and rich with a silky, creamy undertone.Other Canetille workmanship adorns this fabulous brooch. The back of the locket has decorated hair inset with lustrous pearls to decorate this hair piece.This type of jewellery is highly collectable and sought after world wide.It is in very good condition and looks stunning when worn.It weighs 8.5 grams and measures 40mm across by 25mm down - that's 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch.Old Code 2193.
