These moonstone and garnet silver on a rich, blooming, yellow gold gilt earrings are beautiful.There is approx 6cts of moonstone in each earring making approx 12cts in total.The translucent moonstone shimmers with a blue schiller. The moonstone is characterised by an enchanting play of light -moonstone owes its name to that mysterious shimmer which always looks different when the stone is moved.There is a 0.50ct garnet at the top of the moonstone set into the gold gilt - making 1ct in total.The garnet is a deep wine colour with flashes of raspberry.The earrings have gold shepherd hook wires for pierced ears.The earrings are in very good condition and look fabulous when worn.The earrings weigh 5.5 grams.They measure 13mm across by 30mm down - that's 1/2 an inch by under 1 1/2 inches - excluding the wire which is another 10mm.Old Code 4054.
