Beautiful Fine Antique Cameo Brooch and Pendant set in 14 carat Gold, with Chain.
Hand-carved in shell, the theme is an elegant young woman with attractive hair ornamentation of flowers.
The masterful carving clearly depicts the details of her hair, features and dress. This is set in a Gold mount and encircled by an exquisitely pierced fretwork frame.
There are attractively embossed leaves on the four ‘corners’.
At the back, there is the Gold pin and ‘c’ clasp for use as a Brooch, and, at the top, a folding bale for use as a Pendant.
There is a fine and strong Gold Chain which is 20 inches long, for use as a Pendant.
The Cameo measures 1 ¾ inches by nearly 1 ½ inches.
