These Stunning and Eye-catching Antique Earrings are Hand-Carved in Natural Whitby Jet, dating c. 1880.
They are a round pendeloque shape and have been carved with great skill in a criss-cross pattern, faceted to catch the light.
Perhaps they resemble acorns (from which great oaks grow!). They are carefully fluted to give a dynamic finish.
They hang 42mm. by 1 ¾ inch from the top of the ear wire by 15mm. at the widest.
