An Unusual and Very Attractive Vintage Gold Ring set with Rubies.
The centre Quality Ruby is old brilliant cut, weighing approx. ½ carat and is raised in secure claws.
There are eight more, smaller Rubies in a line running towards the shoulders of the Ring.
These are framed with an engraved ‘dogtooth’ pattern, and there are graduated ‘fleur-de-lys’ engravings on the shoulders.
The setting is raised in a mount with a very attractive ‘Celtic’ piercing.The ring is hallmarked Birmingham and is 9ct yellow gold - stamped 375.
The shank is substantial, and all is in Excellent Condition.It weighs 3.2 grams.
The Ring size is M (UK) and 6 ½ (USA), and it could be re-sized by any working Jeweller.Old Code 4276.
