This genuine Victorian, 9ct yellow gold Pendant is gorgeous.The Pendant has superb gold workmanship and detail in its outer gallery.The main feature of the Pendant is the central pendulum which features a deep, rich, wine Garnet with four lustrous Pearls set around it.Garnets have been known to Man for thousands of years and Noah is said to have used a Garnet Lantern to help him steer his ark through the dark night.The Garnet is a popular talisman - a protective stone, said to protect its owner from evil and disaster.The Pearls are lustrous and creamy with a wonderful, silky overtone.It weighs 1.5 grams. In very good condition it looks gorgeous when worn.The Pendant is 22mm across and 30mm down - that's just less than 1 inch by approximately 1.25 inches, including the bale.
