This genuine Victorian, silver, Cloak Pin is set with two natural Malachites.The end section unpins and then you secure it back into the Malachite.Malachite is an opaque, banded, semi-precious stone, in bands which range from a very light green to almost deep green.Malachite derives its name from the Greek 'malakos' - soft or another theory says it comes from Greek 'malhe' which means grass.Malachite is the anniversary gemstone for the 13th year of marriage.It is said to aid in the regeneration of body cells, creates calm and peace and aids one's sleep.Highly collectable and sought after worldwide.It weighs 18.2 grams.In very good condition it looks fabulous when worn.The Pin is 3.25 inches.The Malachites are 16mm across and down - that's just less than 3/4 of an inch.
