A Beautifully Elegant Antique Pendant with an Inset Diamond, c. 1870
The Diamond is Excellent Quality and a Rare Old European-Cut.

It is Sparkling, Clear (VS2) and White (H), which gives it great presence and character. 
It weighs approx. ¼ carat, and is set into the Pendant in a stylish gypsy setting, decorated with a star-shaped motif.
The Pendant is substantial, solid Gold, 2.5 mm. thick, and attractively crenulated around the outside.

The back is plain and it could be worn either way, or engraved.
It measures 25mm. from the top of the bale, by 12mm across.
It weighs 7.5 grams.

The 18 carat Chain is 16 inches long, and is a sinuous ‘foxtail’ pattern-very comfortable for continuous wearing.
