This Victorian French Jet necklace is outstanding - it is Circa 1900.It is 48 inches long and is held together with a secure fastener.The jet is faceted which makes it have a bright shiny appearance - it is knotted in betweeen each bead.The necklace is long enough to be a versatile piece of jewellery - it can be used as one long necklace or wrapped round twice - either way it looks fabulous.Jet is often used as mourning jewellery because of its serene, modest and sombre appearance but it is also very elegant and would not look out of place with any outfit.It weighs a very impressive 85.1 grams.It is in very good condition and looks amazing when worn.It is 48 inches long which is 106.5cms.Old Code 4630.
