These garnet and marcasite silver earrings are just gorgeous!They are solid silver - stamped 925.The central stone is a beautiful 1ct oval shaped rich, raspberry wine coloured garnet - making 2cts of garnet in total.The garnet, which is a stone that has been known to Man for thousands of years, is surrounded by sparkling marcasites.The earrings are in very good condition and look really elegant when worn.They boast superb design and workmanship.They weigh 2.9 grams.They have stud fittings for pierced ears.They measure 10mm across by 12mm down - that's over 1/4 an inch by under 1/2 an inch.The garnet measures 5mm by 7mm.They represent the Victorian style.Old Code 1383.
