This Victorian gold hand carved volcanic lava cameo brooch is circa 1860.The volcanic lava has been hand carved into a fabulous cameo and is set in gold.The attention to detail of the portrait is amazing; boasting superb Victorian workmanship.The cameo is so simple but so effective - it is very beautiful.The cameo brooch is in very good condition and looks gorgeous when worn.It weighs 5.1 grams.The brooch measures 25mm across by 30mm down - that's just 1 inch by 1 1/4 inches.Old Code 2257.
