An Unusual and Attractive Victorian Hand-Carved Shell Cameo Brooch.
It features a young woman in evening dress with hair ornaments and ringlets.
There is a rope-twist edging and the pierced frame is beautifully decorated with ‘fleur-de-lys’ motifs.
On original, locking, ‘c’ clasp and pin, it is in Excellent Condition.
It could easily be altered to a pendant as well.
Rectangular in shape, it measures just over 1 inch (27mm) long by over ¾ inch (22mm) wide.Old Code 2191.
