This silver pill/snuff box is hand painted on enamel with a fabulous picture of a sail ship.The box is solid silver - stamped 925.The picture paints the scene of a beautiful sail ship sailing out of a harbour with all the crew on board.The attention to detail is amazing with the use of bright colours and creating an atmosphere - you can almost smell the sea!The box is useful - it can be used as a pill box or for any other small treasured item.The box opens and closes securely.It weighs 23.8 grams.The box measures 37mm by 27mm - that's 1 1/2 inches by over 1 inch.Represents the Victorian style.Old Code 1971.
