This Victorian shell cameo brooch depicts a lady in front of buildings with a large tree in the background.The cameo is set in pinchbeck on gold gilt with a swirling pattern around the outside of the cameo.The yellow bloom of the gilt tastefully compliments the brown and ivory colour of the cameo.This beautiful cameo brooch is in very good condition and looks stunning when worn.It weighs 13.5 grams.It measures 38mm across by 45mm down - that's 1 1/2 inches by 1 3/4 inches.Old Code 2291.
