This pretty silver peridot butterfly brooch is so beautiful.The brooch is solid silver - stamped 925.The body of the butterfly is a .75ct olive green peridot.The vivid green of the Peridot, with just a hint of gold, is the ideal gemstone colour to go with that summer wardrobe.It is the gemstone for the month of August.The wings of the butterfly are adorned with sparkling marcasites.This pretty brooch boasts superb workmanship and attention to detail.It is in very good condition and looks fabulous when worn.It weighs 2.6 grams.The brooch measures 17mm across by 13mm down - that's over 1/2 an inch by 1/2 an inch.The peridot measures 4mm by 6mm.Represents the Victorian style.Old Code 1890.
