This silver stamp box pendant is very unusual.The stamp box pendant is solid silver, as is the snake chain - both are hallmarked 925.The stamp box pendant is in the shape of a book and the middle slides out on a hinge so that you can put your stamps inside to keep them safe!The chain is not original to the box but is a snake chain with a fancy fastener.The pendant and chain weigh 25.6 grams.The box measures 29mm across by 34mm down - that's over 1 inch by over 1 1/4 inches - the width of the pendant is 6mm.The snake chain is 22 1/2 inches long.Represents the Victorian style.Old Code 4448.
