These are Intriguing and Alluring Earrings composed of Golden Scarab Beetles.
Each Beetle is perfectly formed and engraved, in a walking stance.
In 18 carat Gold on Silver, they are on a cartouche base with hieroglyphs on the underside.
The Scarab Beetle was treated as sacred by the Ancient Egyptians, and considered the embodiment of the God Khepri.
This God was associated with birth, renewal and resurrection, and as one of the sun gods, represents the dawning of the sun.
The Beetles hang from shepherd’s crook wires, so that they move with allure.  The hooks are decorated with a fan or sheaf of wheat and are long for extra Security when wearing.

This is set into the centre of a pear-shaped  section studded with more Sparkling White Sapphires.

These are Beautiful and Colourful Antique filigree pendant Earrings on screw fittings.

The centre stone is a brilliant-cut Amethyst with four seed Pearls around it.
