An Unusual and Attractive Sterling Silver Locket or Poison Ring set with a Garnet centre.
The Garnet is a rich red wine colour, approx. ¼ carat. It is raised in a rubover setting, and surrounded by millepoint and rope twist ornamentation.
This forms the lid of the chamber.
There is a catch which is pulled back to reveal the secret, velvet-lined, chamber.
Locket Rings were also known as ‘Poison Rings’ – they were used before Divorce!

This huge and Beautiful Ring measures almost 35mm. long and is an exquisite display of pale Garnet stones.
There are seven (Lucky) deep Rich Red Garnets; each nearly One full carat, pendeloque-cut and securely claw-set.

Slices of Garnet have been used in windows in Churches and Temples in the past, and Legend has it that Noah suspended Garnet in the Ark in order to dispense Light.
